Handmade, two-sided leather ‘paddle strop’ in solid oak. One side is ‘flesh’ leather for loading with paste to refine and align the edge, the other is smooth leather for polishing the edge to a razor sharpness.
These make a MASSIVE difference to your knife sharpness - if you know, you know – and if you don’t, have a go!
The leather used is high-quality 3.5mm veg-tan, the same that I use for my knife sheaths.
Includes a 115g block of Skerper fine (red) stropping paste; this is the best one I’ve used and a single block will last a very long time.
Working surface dimensions; 6cm x 17.5cm x 2.5cm thick.
NOTE: Handle wax not included
